![]() Opinions? I should've searched the forums too, this topic has probably come up before I guess there's a lot of reptition in design of dungeons and so forth, so overall are they still worth playing? Back in the day I played Ultima IV, even got the ultima collection and managed to get through #1, and part way through 5 and 7 so I'm no stranger to super-old RPGs, though whether ES1+2 are as good I don't know. But maybe if I grab the Steed power like I did for Oblivion I won't go mad this time just trying to cross some little hamlet.Īnyway, assuming my interest holds, obviously after these two games (or before morrowind) I'll go to Skyrim, but what about the original games?Īrena and Daggerfall as I understand it are, procedurally-generated worlds somewhat with huge maps that absolutely requires fast travel. Morrowind originally drove me nuts because the characters all seemed lifeless (too much repeated dialogue) and my guy moved around at a snail's pace. I'm enjoying it enough that I may even try going back and trying Morrowind again, which I have GOTY for PC. ![]() Well after have a pig of time playing Oblivion, I started a new character on a slightly easier difficulty (though still above the norm) and managed to actually get into it, having put say 85 hours or so into it.
